Civil Engineers and Technicians CET129 - Urgently Required to start no later than 1st November

Qualifications

At least 10 years experience in any field of Water Engineering and/or Pipe lines.
French or Arabic speaking
Must have current Water related experience.

Salary Package

Engineers up to €7000 Euros Tax Free (depending on experience)
Technicians maximum €5000 Euros Tax Free (depending on experience)
Free Accommodation - Married or single
4 flights a year will be included in the contract.

Duration - 3 Year project

Location - Nouakchott, Mauritania - Conditions there are pleasant and non militant

History

Our client is resourcing a huge project in Mauritania, which is a desert area The project will be transferring water from the Senegal River and a tributary inland to the North to the Capital Nokshott, 170 km away through a 1,7mt dia. steel and concrete encased pipeline.

Along the way there will be 10-12 pump stations and then in Nokshott there will be a major water purification works as the water is full of Bilharzia. It is however mostly for irrigation purposes so there will be irrigation canals and reservoirs at various points along the way.
