Senior Interior Designer - ECI/SS/HQ00000279 - Qatar

Key Duties

Review of Design Consultant documentation for all design phases (Concept Design through to Construction) associated with architecture, interior architecture, interiors, FF&E, Signage.
Coordination of meetings and compiling meeting minutes.
Familiarity with code issues related to materialization, architecture/ space planning and ADA.
Work with signature and international design consultants on major institutional/ educational projects in Qatar.
Interface with site Construction Management division regarding final Consultant documentation.

Requirements

Minimum 10 years experience in Architecture/ Interior Architecture/ FF&E, including Project Management experience in related disciplines.
Minimum undergraduate degree in related design disciplines such as Interior Design or Architecture.
Successful candidates must demonstrate a detailed background in multi-housing facilities, educational/ institutional, civic, sports, hospitality and commercial facilities.
Must have excellent communication skills in both verbal and written English.
Must have excellent Project Management skills including attention to detail.
Experience in document review of architecture, interior architecture, interiors, FF&E, signage documentation at each design stage of a project.

Note: We would prefer a western candidate for this position (UK, US, Australian, European) or at least someone who has citizenship in those countries.
