Reporting
to the Infrastructure Branch Manager (UAE - Abu Dhabi) as a Sr. Project
Manager - Landscape Architect you will be the focal point of project works
in direct coordination with the Infrastructure Branch Manager (UAE - Abu
Dhabi). You will be responsible for managing a team of landscape architects;
creating landscape designs & estimating projects for company clients.
You will act as a facilitator to ensure timely delivery of quality designs.
This position requires creativity & artistic talent, good organizational,
time management, and communication skills.
Responsibilities
and Duties
- Management
of the design phase of assigned projects in coordination with the engineers
& consultants and in support of the Infrastructure Branch Manager
(UAE - Abu Dhabi)
- Management
of Tender process, pre-qualification, selection of vendors and contractors
- Prepare
tender evaluation report & prepare recommendation for final approval
from direct supervisor and concerned committees
- Prepare
for and conduct pre-qualification meetings and hand over to Construction
Management Team
- Attend
all senior management follow-up progress meetings & coordination
meetings.
- Monitor
and verify material submittals, shop drawings, process etc.
- Follow
up with the project schedule and ensure the completion as targeted.
- Verify
& approve completion certificates, as built drawings and O&M
manuals.
- Preparation
of project budgets and monthly budget status reports in conjunction
with the QS Manager
- Preparation
of monthly progress reports for review and approval by the Infrastructure
Branch Manager (UAE - Abu Dhabi)
- Provide
support to the Construction Management team during the construction
phase of the project with design related and prime contract issues
- Provide
support to client operations during the project closeout and warranty
periods, if required by contract.
- Monitor
the production of quality landscape designs to renovate, enhance, and
improve properties for company clients
- Prepare
presentations and coordinate on-site meetings with managers and clients
- Evaluate
quality of services provided
- Assist
managers and sales representatives with concepts & marketing materials
for proposals
Qualifications
- Degree
in Landscape Architecture or industry related with certification for
landscape design
- Demonstrate
15 - 20 years experience of which at least 3 have been in a management
role.
- Landscape
Design experience to include high-end commercial landscape
- Experienced
in meeting Clients and developing innovative landscape concept designs
