Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified senior technical professional to implement Quality Assurance and Quality Control within our Design and Planning Division in Doha, Qatar. The title and role will be QA/QC Manager. The incumbent will report directly to the Head of the Design and Planning Division. The Design and Planning Division is inclusive of Architecture, Structural Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing Engineering, and Interior Design.

Position

• Monitor day-to-day operations of department personnel to guarantee compliance with both client & code specifications.
  
• Cultivate a culture of QA/QC as a discipline on projects.
  
• Compile statistical data on production performance report results to Head of D & P.
  
• Co-author and implement quality control procedure manual for conducting day to day operations, tests and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality and performance per client specifications.
  
• Interface with client QA
  
• Review manufacturers product and provide recommendation for design and specification
  
• Review and approve of all associated supplier issued quality assurance / control documentation, problem solving of field inspection non-conformances / deviations from suppliers during inspection life cycle.
  
• Overall responsibility for monitoring and auditing the quality assurance and control activities performed by EPC Contractor in the areas of engineering, vendor shops, and construction.
  
• Direct, advise, and/or instruct the field QA/QC engineers in performing periodically visiting the job sites.

Qualifications

• University graduate (B.Sc. in Engineering/Architecture)
  
• A minimum of 10 years of experience within the A/E Industry, including direct experience with RediCheck, Docu-check or equivalent QA/QC based methodologies.
  
• High level of proficiency with international building codes.
  
• Fluent English communication capability.
  
• Good Computer skills.
