Senior Civil Engineer - YLNG002 London

Job Description

• Control the engineering activity and detailed engineering related to civil works in coordination with the Lead Civil Works / Structural Engineer.
• Assist the Lead Civil Works / Structural Engineer during the engineering phase.
• Provide expert assistance to the Company's team.

Reporting to

• Directly to the Lead Civil Engineer.

Knowledge and Experience

• Graduate engineer with extensive experience in civil engineering works.
• At least 5 years experience on large, complex projects.
• Ability to identify and resolve problems.
• Fluent English (spoken and written) with sound communication skills.
• Team player.
• Good technical level of understanding of all disciples involved.
• Knowledge of British Standards is a must.

Duties

• checking all drawings and documents from the contractor involved in civil works programmes.
• Checks concrete calculations of structures.
• Ensures the engineering progress is in accordance with the project schedule.
• Liaise with contractors and vendors.
